Kids drop off

This WE, we went to Aix-en-Provence and left the kids to the grand-parents for the holidays.

2 kids is not enough

So tonight we got 4 at home:

Legend: After it felt for 1 hour that a 4 earthquakes were hitting the house at the sametime, we managed to calm down the elements thanks to the BarbaPapa hidden weapon.
Well, it worked !

Adjusting to a new life... Once again

So that is it, we started this month with our busy working parent cycle again. Daddy abandonning his stay-home dad status; daddy and mommy both starting a new job; mommy commuting to Grenoble for three days, each other week; the parents shifting for the deposit / pick-up of the kids at school / nanny; the nanny taking care of the kids in the evenings waiting for the parents to get home.
It seems that our older guy already understood the toughness of this new life, from the parents' point of view: w/o being incited, he proposed to help me cooking tonight and said: "Mommy, when you will ask me for things, I will listen to you from now on.". I just was astounded...

Back in time (2b)

Accompanied by the kids and the grand-parents, we went back on our path in the Catalan country.
Twelve years ago we, Bob and Cri, met in Perpignan and spent 4 wonderful years in the cosy nest of Banyuls sur mer.
In a way, this week-end Obren and Matisse took a walk on the story of their origin.

Un ptit chou de 16 mois

Tout rose, juste apres le sieste.
Notre Tissou a beaucoup change ce mois-ci, surtout pour ses parents qui ne l'ont pas vu la moitie du temps.

Les mots: Maman, Papa, 'Ben, Bain (il le demande tous les soirs avec hardeur), Pain, boire, Auvoir, Nan! , voir, 'eugarde!
Les activites: la marche assuree et bientot la course, la montee de l'escalier aussitot son acces ouvert, la lecture (Matisse ADORE les livres; il pretend les lire en nous imitant), les voitures (comme Obren), l'imitation du grand-frere, la protection vis a vis du grand-frere (Matisse nous rapporte toute activite illicite de son frere a son insu, en nous mimant de facon tres explicite ce qui s'est passe), la grande bouffe (Matisse mange de tout - ou presque - et en grandes quantites).
